Erics Willows Lake continues to fish incredibly well with big fish captures a plenty and personal bests getting broken on a daily basis! Damian Lyles headed down for his first session and was rewarded with a three-fish catch topped by this personal best 37lb 8oz mirror. Well done Damian!
He said: “I found some fish at the bck of the island in peg 9 and lost a lump within minutes of casting out and then an even better lump half hour later. I was gutted! The fish did the off so i piled a fair bit of bait in and waited for them to return, which they did. Within an hour I had 3 out including an 18lb stunner, a 37lb 8oz Mirror (PB) and a 12lb Common. I was made up with the place, everyone is sound there is some proper decent lads on there. I dont know why but i did think it may be clicky….but how mistaken I was.”
More Overnight Success! – 20/5/13
Gus Thresh had a great overnighter on Erics Willows Lake yesterday when he managed 3 stockies to just under 20 lb and this mint 30lb-plus mirror. Gus said: “Top lake and great bunch of lads up there , cheers to Scott for the photos
