Richard Kelly has been back doing what he does best…..turning up and landing chunks. His latest trip saw him setting up in peg 13 but he was far from unlucky.
After watching for signs and taking note of other anglers actions, he set about fishing solely with single baits. A spot around 60 yards was the chosen area where he found a thinner depression of weed surrounded by denser weed-bed.
A single glugged B5 pop up doing the damage again, being picked up at 15:30pm resulting in this common weighing 32lb 8oz on the 2nd January.
Back in the game and what a way to start the new year!
