Steve Gale had an epic session over a week ago. After arriving at 9 straight from a night shift he didn’t waste no time in doing a quick lap of the lake with his eyes peeled. He dropped into 14 and got settled down. Around tea time I stopped to have a chat with him and we noticed a few subtle shows among the waves and the wind. Despite being tired, he reeled two rods in for a recast so I left him to it. Within half an hour it was fish on! After netting a chunk his other rod ripped off on a zig and the carnage commenced…….
