David Robinson has been back and given his track record prior to the session; 12 nights resulting in 35 carp to 49lb 8oz, this trip was no different…..
I got to the lake for my annual 5 day session and after talking to a couple of anglers I found out that peg 9 had not been fished for a while, so that’s where i headed. The rods had only been in the water for an hour when I had a double take resulting in two 20’s. I caught six more fish to 26lb that evening, then the runs slowed up. The following evening I had another run resulting in a 41lb 8oz mirror and the following day resulted in a 39lb 8oz mirror which meant 10 fish in 3 days.
Unfortunately I didn’t get another bite, so in theory I should of moved but it is as it is, I had already enjoyed an awesome session.
