James Mac continues his run off fish…
After a walk round the lake with not much was showing, I stopped for a chat with a few of the anglers. After weighing things up, I jumped in peg 6 as the guy who was leaving had a few fish and said they have been showing over him earlier that morning.
I fished combi style rigs with a 15mm choc banana nut tipped with plastic corn, fished over a bed of r9 hemp mix and 6 or 7 boilies.
Not long after getting all rods on the money and tidying up, the left rod burst into life with this 39lb 6oz mirror.
Over the moon with this one.
I also had another 3 fish; a 20lb scaly and 2 stockies using the same method.
All in all I had a decent session and can’t wait to get back
